Research interests
* Understanding the impact of disability and capability loss on the use of products and services
* Developing tools and methods to help support designers in developing more inclusive products, i.e. products that are suitable for a wider range of people, including those who are older or have disabilities. These include the Impairment Simulators and Exclusion Calculator, which can be found on the Inclusive Design Toolkit.
* Analysing population data on people's capabilities and applying this to the use of products and services to estimate how many people would be able to use those products.
