• Dynamic behaviour of materials: blast and impact resistance, deformation and failure
• Multi-scale modelling of materials

• Dynamic deformation of additively manufactured cellular materials
• Topology optimisation of cellular materials for impact energy absorption
• Auxetic cellular materials for blast and impact resistant sandwich structures
• Modelling grain boundary interface mechanics in strain gradient crystal plasticity
• Aerogel composites: processing, modelling and application of thermally efficient structural materials
